Way back when Larry King was playing with baby dinosaurs, 60 Minutes' crusty mouthpiece Andy Rooney was forming his hard-line opinions on life in these United States.
Now the Roonster is piping up on today's current crop of musical chart-toppers, which have him baffled and irked, for corn's sake. See, Andy views himself as a regular guy, a real ham-and-egger, a "normal average American."
So why the heck doesn't he know who Justin Bieber, Usher and Lady Gaga (or Ga-guh, per Andy's quaint, Depression-era pronounciation) are? How dare these young punks infest the airwaves with their devil's music. That Cobain fella was bad enough.
Probably a bunch of pinkos, too.
